Building Your Network In Aesthetics

Advance your clinical skills and offering at CCR
with Headline Sponsor Galderma

Aesthetic practitioners often work independently,
or in very small teams.  Despite being the nature of
the job, it can affect everything from motivation and
creativity, to business and career development. That’s
why it’s so important to create a network of like-minded
practitioners, who can provide you with support, advice
and long-lasting friendship.

CCR is the largest meeting of UK aesthetic medical
professionals, uniting attendees from all specialties and
at all stages of their careers. The event will host a variety
of networking opportunities to provide you with the
perfect chance to build up your network. From breakfast
meet-ups to a charity after party, you can find your
community, and friends, at CCR this year

Discuss the insights from the day

Headline and Networking Lounge Sponsor Galderma has created the perfect space for you to relax between the 70+ educational sessions. Enjoy a coffee and meet with friends as you catch up on your favourite learnings of the day and share the solutions you might start implementing in your clinic.

Be sure to head here after the talks at 17:00 on Day 1, October 19, where Networking Drinks Sponsor Deleo will host a gathering for all attendees and speakers! After a full day of education, relax with your peers, enjoy a drink and maybe even grab some more tips from one of our KOLs or Clinical Advisory Board Members. You’ll also get the perfect photo opportunity at our official CCR photo board!

Get to know like-minded aesthetic nurses

NEW for 2023 is the British Association of Cosmetic
Nurses (BACN) Breakfast, taking place on the morning
of Day 2 at the In Practice Theatre. Join like-minded
individuals on similar career paths to share ideas
and build your support network within the aesthetic
nursing community. This meeting is especially key to
any first-timers. We encourage all nurses attending their
first CCR alone to come and meet fellow nurses on the
same journey.
You’ll also have the chance to meet BACN chair and
our Clinical Advisory Board lead Sharon Bennett, along
with other BACN nurses and the rest of the BACN team,
and ask them any questions you might have. You don’t
need to be a member, all are welcome to join them at
9:00am on October 20 for pastries and coffee.

Holly Carver, deputy editor at Aesthetics, comments, “We get so many questions about how to get involved with the journal and tips for writing articles. We thought this would be a great opportunity to give our advice in person and hear your thoughts on the latest aesthetic trends and techniques! We can’t wait to meet you and see what you’ve been up to.”

Build on your personal brand

CCR invites all Aesthetics Full Members and Awards
Finalists to gather in the Aesthetics Lounge on Day 2 at
14:00 for a little celebration. If you or your team have won
an Aesthetics Award in the past, make sure to bring it
along so we can capture a celebratory group photo! We
love to hear the success stories from you and use this
opportunity to celebrate with you and inspire the next
generation of Finalists and Winners!
The Aesthetics journal team will also be here for a Meet
& Greet and to discuss writing opportunities, trends and
research. Chat to them for top tips on how to create
engaging content read by thousands of colleagues that
will in turn maximise your industry exposure and career
development. You can also discover more about our new
membership model and get useful tips for writing your
Aesthetics Awards 2024 entry.

The power of attending! Hear from CCR 2022 visitors…

“I am an experienced NHS medical doctor (GP) just starting off in aesthetic
medicine. I found CCR to be highly educationally beneficial and rewarding,
and I was able to learn a great deal about the aesthetic medicine market
and practice. I met with suppliers and many fellow practitioners that will help
me within my practice and career.”
Practising GP, 10 years. New to aesthetics and CCR
“I have been practising aesthetics for well over 15 years and still find
attending CCR of huge benefit. Not only is it vital to keep technical
skills up to date, it is such a good opportunity to reconnect with old
friends and colleagues, and share challenges, experiences and
solutions. I learn something new every year. It is an absolute must for
all aesthetic practitioners.”
