Clinical Aesthetic Trainer & Academic Assessor
Essential Requirements: Registered healthcare professional (NMC, GMC, GDC or HCPC). Minimum 2 years' experience administering aesthetic injectable treatments. Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies (or working towards). Teaching qualification (Level 3 AET or equivalent). Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA or equivalent) or willingness to obtain. Excellent knowledge of facial anatomy, consultation, assessment, clinical governance, and complication management. Strong written and verbal communication, organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety, professionalism, and high-quality education.
Desirable: Independent Prescriber. Experience delivering regulated qualifications, assessing Level 7 work, knowledge of OTHM, Ofqual and JCCP frameworks, and supporting learners through reflective practice and portfolio development.
Rebecca Mackay Aesthetics Academy, a JCCP-approved training provider delivering the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies, is seeking an experienced Clinical Trainer & Academic Assessor to join our growing team.
Role: Deliver foundation and advanced injectable training, supervise delegates during practical sessions and live model treatments, assess learners against OTHM Level 7 standards, mark assignments, portfolios and clinical logbooks, provide detailed feedback, conduct practical competency assessments, mentor learners, maintain accurate records, and promote safe, ethical, evidence-based practice while ensuring compliance with awarding organisation and regulatory requirements.
Essential: Registered healthcare professional (NMC, GMC, GDC or HCPC), minimum 2 years' injectable experience, Level 7 Diploma (or working towards), recognised teaching qualification (Level 3 AET or equivalent), assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA or equivalent) or willingness to obtain, excellent knowledge of facial anatomy, consultation, assessment, clinical governance and complication management, strong communication, organisation and attention to detail, with a commitment to patient safety and high-quality education.
