Clinical Aesthetic Trainer (Freelance)

Rebecca Mackay Aesthetics Academy, a JCCP-approved training provider, is seeking an experienced Clinical Aesthetic Trainer to deliver practical injectable training to registered healthcare professionals. You'll supervise delegates treating live models, provide feedback, and maintain the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Requirements: Registered healthcare professional (NMC, GMC, GDC or HCPC), 2+ years' injectable experience, Level 7 (or working towards), teaching qualification (AET Level 3+), excellent communication skills, and professional indemnity insurance. Training and/or Independent Prescriber experience is desirable.

The Role:
- You will deliver practical aesthetic injectable training, supervise delegates during live model treatments, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety, professionalism, and clinical excellence are maintained throughout all training sessions.
Essential Requirements: Registered healthcare professional (NMC, GMC, GDC or HCPC). Minimum of 2 years' experience independently administering aesthetic injectable treatments. Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies or currently working towards Level 7. Recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent). Excellent knowledge of facial anatomy, consultation, assessment, and safe injecting techniques. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Professional indemnity insurance appropriate for aesthetic practice. A passion for education, mentoring, and supporting healthcare professionals to develop safe clinical practice. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance and continuing professional development. Desirable: Independent Prescriber qualification. Previous experience delivering aesthetic training courses. Experience teaching both foundation and advanced injectable techniques. - Experience assessing learner competence and providing structured feedback. Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies (or working towards). Teaching qualification (Level 3 AET or equivalent). Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA or equivalent) or willingness to obtain. Excellent knowledge of facial anatomy, consultation, assessment, clinical governance, and complication management. Strong written and verbal communication, organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety, professionalism, and high-quality education. Desirable: Independent Prescriber. Experience delivering regulated qualifications, assessing Level 7 work, knowledge of OTHM, Ofqual and JCCP frameworks, and supporting learners through reflective practice and portfolio development.
