2021 | Another successful year for CCR
CCR welcomed 3200 visitors over two days in its new ExCeL London home. With a dedicated focus on registered health care professionals, CCR delivered a high-quality audience of surgeons, doctors, nurses, dentists, dermatologists and clinic owners. With an average of 80 visitors per stand, 95% of exhibitors have already rebooked for 2022, proving that CCR is leading in successfully serving the promotional and education needs of our ever-growing industry.

The Agenda
With five stages this year including Live Demo, In Practice, Surgical and Non-Surgical and Gallery Rooms, the CPD Accredited agenda fulfilled the appetite for education within the medical community. Arenas were packed out for Dr Marwa Ali’s Tear Trough Masterclass, Dr Arthur Swift’s packed morning keynotes, Dr Munir Somji and Dr Natalie Geary on the Live Demo Stage for Emerald Laser, as well as Tapan Patel’s Masterclass. The Non-Surgical Arena also featured Professor Bob Khanna with a Profile Correction Masterclass and Dr Raj Acquilla looking at Facial Structure – The Art of Beauty. The ACE Group World also partnered with CCR for the first time to run a successful conference on complications.
New this year, the ISAPS Symposium UK was integrated into CCR’s Surgical Arena with global leaders in aesthetic plastic surgery reviewing contemporary techniques in body contouring. The faculty of speakers included Dr Naveen Cavale, Mr Mo Akhavani, Mr Mark Soldin, Dr Pouria Moradi, Mr James McDiarmid, Mr Patrick Mallucci, Mr Reza Nassab and Dr Kourosh Tavakoli.
The In Practice Theatre delivered a programme of highly informative discussions ensuring clinic owners and managers have all the tools to make their practices a success. The agenda covered topics including managing patient expectations, increasing sales, skincare integration, mental health awareness, marketing and PR tips.

Launch Pad
CCR offered a platform for new and innovative technology brands aiming to make the patient experience more streamlined. Companies included Tap2App, The SafeAP, MAPIQ and The Aesthetics Accountant. New skincare brands were exhibiting including LABthetics, CellDerma, Prima Ultima, Dermafocus, Revanesse and EvoCyte.

Trend Predictions
2021 saw the first ever CCR Trend Report, introduced to provide the most informative resource currently available to UK press and consumers. The 2021 CCR Trend Report covers surgical and non-surgical aesthetics trends, with discussion topics focusing on subjects such as the next generation of fillers and toxins; skincare integration into treatments; fat loss systems and the alternatives to the BBL; the implications of aesthetics on a patient’s mental health as well as innovations in face and eye surgery.
The CCR Trend Report was launched at the Trends Briefing by a panel of industry experts including world renowned plastic surgeon Dr Arthur Swift, Harrods Wellness Clinic’s Dr Marwa Ali, award-winning Light Touch Clinic’s Dr Natali Geary and their hosts Tatler Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guide’s Francesca White and Aesthetics journal Editor, Shannon Kilgariff. Our audience included ELLE and OK! magazines, The Times and Harper’s Bazaar.
