CCR 2019: OUR BEST YEAR YET!
Celebrating its seventh year, CCR 2019 promises to bring the best surgical and non-surgical innovations in aesthetic medicine
London, (08/04/2019): CCR announces that this year’s event will be its best yet…
Following the huge success of CCR 2018 which saw a total of 5,107 attendees and a 5% increase in visitors, plans for 2019 are set to ensure CCR exceeds expectations and delivers its best year yet! Thanks to its schedule packed full of the latest and greatest treatments, seminars delivered by the finest industry experts and live demos of everything new in the world of aesthetics, it is the annual ‘must-attend’ event.
With over 200 brands and more than 120 speakers, along with co-located surgical and dermatological meetings, CCR is the only platform in the UK that unites the surgical and nonsurgical communities. The aesthetic industry is constantly evolving, with advances in medical practices, the development of new products, as well as new techniques and changes to industry regulations. CCR helps to unwrap the latest trends and industry challenges, through two days of thought-provoking, skill-enhancing content.
CCR 2019 promises to not only showcase the latest the industry has to offer but will be attended by the most influential journalists and key opinion leaders providing valuable insight into the future of the aesthetic industry. It is no surprise that 2018 saw a whopping 92% of visitors attending due to their interest in injectables, with training and technology following closely behind. Dr H. William Song, MD, comments: “I would recommend this conference to any physician who wants to keep up with and stay ahead in the rapidly growing field of aesthetic medicine.”
Conferences and Education at CCR
CCR has quickly become a leading educational event in the aesthetics field; raising industry standards by continuing to carefully select its industry partners. Delivering free CPD certified conferences including those on clinic and practice management, dermatology and injectables and getting started in aesthetics, they have been curated to deliver advice and learning to practitioners at all levels and with a range of specialities and interest.
CCR is also the only event to unite the surgical and non-surgical communities through the colocation of surgical meetings. Now in its 34th year and its 5th year alongside CCR, the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) Annual International Conference will take place at CCR, as well as the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) Symposium UK taking place the next day. The dedicated BAAPS Village on the show floor provides an opportunity for exhibitors with a focus on aesthetic surgery and providing products such as implants, surgical tools and fat removal devices to network with and target over 450 surgeons.
Chairman of the CCR Advisory Board and renowned Plastic Surgeon, Norman Waterhouse, leading the CCR Expo Advisory Board of 30 industry experts who shape the educational programme, comments: “Since its inception seven years ago CCR has become the go to event for aesthetic medicine and surgery in the United Kingdom. This year there are planned further improvements both in the range and content of the scientific programme as well as the facilities for delegates. All this adds up to CCR maintaining its position at the forefront of aesthetic education in the UK.”
Providing the most for visitors and exhibitors
CCR’s networking and introduction programme gives all participants the opportunity to connect directly. CCR Connect provides a free and bespoke matchmaking service between visitors and exhibitors, so exhibitors can view the visitors list ahead of CCR 2019 and request meetings, and vice-versa. In 2018, CCR Connect generated over 300 meetings, many of which took place on the exhibitors’ stands.
For distributors, CCR offers a unique opportunity to maximise the growth of the UK’s medical aesthetic market by facilitating meetings between international manufacturers and UK distributors. This programme is free of charge for international exhibitors providing a low risk, time and cost effective opportunity for manufacturers to source and secure a UK distributor.
